Investment support Offices are active with 4 expert personnel in Hatay, and Osmaniye, and 5 in Kahramanmaras, where Eastern Mediterranean Development Agency is active, as of August 2010.

Authorities, Duties and Responsibilities of Investment Support Office in Hatay

• Informing about the New Incentive System,
• Receiving applications regarding investments, whose fixed investment amount does not exceed 10 million TL within the framework of the General Incentive Application,
• Monitoring of all investments with incentive certificate and according to the request of Ministry of Economics, documentation closing procedures in the province of Hatay,
• Following of investors’ “permission and license” and “other administrative procedures” which are under the realm of authority and duty of state institutions and organizations at the provincial level from a single center
• Free consulting services for investors,
• Monitoring of investments in the province,
• National and International Promotion of business and investment opportunities in the province,
• Support and Promotion Activities in the province and coordination of these activities,
• Support for the conducting of Agency’s other activities at provincial level.

Services, provided at the Investment Support Agency in Hatay are free of charge. However; fees, prices and other financial obligations which are prescribed by law and related to incentive certificates, permission and license procedures and incentive certificates are under the responsibility of business owner.
