Church of St. Peter
Church of St. Peter is known as the world’s first church.
It is one of the destinations, where Christians make their pilgrimage. The “Christian” name was first used here for those, who follow the religion of Jesus Christ. The importance of Antakya was mentioned in the Bible. Since it is considered as the second center after Jerusalem, the patriarch of Antakya is called “The Mother Church”.
