Issos Ruins
They are located between Dörtyol district and Erzin (Yeşilkent), to the west of Iskenderun-Adana highway. Actually a Persian city, ISSOS, is a place, which witnessed the war between Alexander the Great and the Persian Emperor Darius III, which is one of the greatest battles of history. Water storages, aqueducts and ruins of the temple of ISSOS remain today
