Samandağ Beach
Samandağ county has one of the longest beaches in the world, 14 km in length, where the Orontes River joins the Mediterranean. This is a wide, sandy beach, open to public. This beach is also one of the few spawning and breeding areas of Chelonia Mydas and Caretta Caretta sea turtles, which are in danger of extinction.
