With the completion of the construction work of the 27 MW wind power plant, Hatay will increase its total installed power to 165,5 MW in the short term.

The Mediterranean is the 2nd region in terms of potential for solar energy and Hatay, with 8.21 hours of daily sunshine, is one of the provinces with the highest potential in this regard. Month by month, sunshine duration of Hatay is as follows:
RES, HES and TES Energy investments, licensed by EMRA and whose research continues, are 2,021 MW/h total and their approximate investment amount is 1. 3 billion EUR. This amount is expected to increase considerably in the forthcoming period, with the improvement of infrastructure.
